 Company History
Foundation Services of Central Florida, Inc. was formed in 1990 when Bobby Hardin, Keith Seyler, and Darryl Hampy decided to focus their efforts on sinkhole remediation and foundation stabilization. While still continuing to offer general construction services in the residential and commercial market, Hardin-Seyler-Hampy became the "go to" guys in the Central Florida area for foundation problems related to sinkholes and poor soil conditions. The three had been building homes together as partners since 1986. Robert Stephenson has been with them from the beginning and became a partner in 2003. This group carries a wealth of knowledge in the building industry. Bobby Hardin and Darryl Hampy have been State Certified General Contractors since 1958 and 1980, respectively.
Bobby began using cast-in-place auger piles on his custom homes in the late 1970's to eliminate movement due to clay soils. He then began installing these piles for other builders in the area. This led to the start of the company as we know it today. Over time, Foundation Services saw a need for structural steel pin piers that could be installed in limited access areas and could be drilled deeper into the ground as needed. These steel pin piers also worked well in sinkhole applications along with pressure grouting. Foundation Services has worked with many engineering firms through the years and has remained at the forefront of our profession through field experience, sharing knowledge, and new technology. Today we are working daily on pressure grouting sinkholes, installing pin piers; auger cast piles and helical piers. We have completed jobs as far South as Broward County, FL and as far North as Lowndes County, GA. We also continue to offer above ground construction services such as custom homes, additions and remodels, offices, warehouses, and storm-resistant horse barns.
