Joe and Gail Reilly of Ocala, Florida awakened one morning to find an 18-foot-long, 14-foot-wide, 15-foot-deep sinkhole in their front yard. They called Foundation Services of Central Florida, and the “Sinkhole Pros” were onsite almost immediately to educate, advise and stabilize the void.
Deep Compaction Grouting was the sinkhole repair method required by the Reillys. It’s the most common repair method to stabilize subsurface soils and seal the limestone surface. They were relieved that homeowners do not have to vacate the home during the typical two weeks of repairs.
The Reillys reported to Ocala Style Magazine (December 28, 2010):
“Foundation Services performed the stabilization, cosmetic repairs, and resolved all issues both inside and out.”
